Nick obtained his Bachelor of Science degree, in Petroleum Engineering from West Virginia University. He started his career with Schlumberger as a Field Engineer and advanced through the engineering ranks. After 3 years with Schlumberger he went to work for Halliburton Energy Services, where he spent 12 years in various positions.
Prior to founding Log Analysis Solutions (LAS), in 2010, he worked as a completion engineer for Manhattan Petroleum and operational manager for Element Petroleum. Mr. Maschas has been part of several startup companies in the past 6 years, including two E&P companies, (Opus Operating I, and Opus Operating II), and LAS Energy Services.
